Gregory A. Berkowitz is a partner and General manager at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Laffey International Realty.
Over 36 years ago, Greg began his career in real estate under the exceptional guidance of his mother, renowned broker to the Long Island area, Lynne A. Berkowitz. He developed a thriving real estate business of his own; and in the year 2000 he joined his biggest competitor, Laffey Fine Homes International Realty (now BHHS Laffey International Realty).
After the merger, his branch office soon reflected a 70% increase in sales. In only six months, Greg was named Manager of the Year. Today, his branch is the number one team in the New Hyde Park, Manhasset Hills, Searingtown, Floral Park, Williston Park and Garden City areas. Greg attributes his quick success to his ability to meet the needs of both his devoted agents and their clientele. He offers extensive market knowledge, exceptional customer service, and an unstoppable determination. Always moving forward, Greg became a partner in the Laffey organization in just a couple of years.
Greg is very involved in the community. His associations have included Kiwanis International, the Long Island Harley Owners Group, the Long Island BMW Riders Club, and the Huntington Anglers Club.
He lives in Asharoken with his wife, Michele. His step-son Andrew and wife Christine reside in Jersey City. Greg and Michele’s daughter Emily who graduated University of Miami, and now is attending LIU Brooklyn to become a physicians assistant. Still at home are their dogs, Koko and Hermione. In his spare time, Greg enjoys motorcycle touring, fishing, jet skiing around Northport harbor and cruising the town in a classic muscle car. Though his absolute favorite is coming home to a home cooked meal lovingly prepared by his wife, Michele.
